Hi guys & gals. I found a technical guy a few miles from my local home who said he can solve white screen problem on my P168. Whether he really can, I will find out in the next 24 hours. If he does, I will post the solution for all of you to see. I any case I plan to give myself a Christmas present with a new i9 if the guy doesn't solve the screen issue.

The time has come to say goodbye - the forum has been a great help and thank you's are in order to one and all. I have finally decided to bite the bullet and sold my ageing P168C and bought me a brand new Nokia E63 and a Nokia 6600slide both work and personal use. I have now changed jobs and I needed a mobile (cell) phone that was not to quirky or out of the ordinary and needed more a business phone. Don't get me wrong the P168C was what it was, but it was never ...

I'll get right to the point. My bricked i68 has 64mb firmware that was read when the phone was it good working condition. I mistakenly flashed the phone with 32mb firmware. Anyways how do I go about finding out my firmware version and how do I update it? Is there a free option? What is Dora and what do I have to do with it first?

Gerally speaking

KA09 is a young brother to Mini KA08 iPhone, and it has been updated, as KA08 only has one round button as iPhone style, however, mini KA09 has three rectangle button, seemingly, it looks like the buttons of Nokia N97. Okay, please like KA09 Quad Band Dual SIM Mobile Phone, just like Mini KA08 Quad Band Dual SIM Mobile Phone.

Price: KA08 is a little cheaper than KA09

Know more details about KA09 iPhone, please go there

After much searching, I have finally found settings that work for this phone in Australia. I can't claim any credit for it - I found the information on the web. It is a pdf file that has settings and instructions for manually setting up the phone for Telstra, Optus, Vodaphone, TPG/Soul and Crazy John's. I can only comment on the Telstra settings, but they work perfectly. I don't know how to upload the file for everyone to use (perhaps the admin people could tell me). This info is too hard to ...

Hi from Australia. As a new owner of a P168, I loved the phone but was frustrated because i couldn't get it to work properly. No MMS, unable to get a keypad while on a call, etc. Thankfully this forum has solved most of my problems. Why is it that the user has to do everything themselves - the manufacturers just want your money without providing any backup.

So I search for this problem and the only post I saw was last year and remained unresolved. I'm hoping it has actually been dealt with since then. Anyway, this morning my phone alarm work me up, I made some calls, sent some texts, then went to my sisters and when I got there I discovered my buttons don't work anymore. The touch screen still works, but basically I have to wait for someone to call me and then work the slide unlock and go from there. Oddly enough, however, if the phone is turned ...

Hi I have searched for days trying to find the correct code to entering engineering mode on my i68. The guy I bought it from said that it was the latest model with a 6 page menu. And that no engineering code was offered. However I don't think it's an authentic sci-phone because the only codes I've gotten to work are: *#0000# (for version info) and *#06#. I have tried dozens of others with no luck. I'll list some of them below. I've heard that you can get the correct code with a hexeditor ...

My ciphone model is a C900 (win 6.1). After doing some research, I believe it has the same specification as a M88, with the only difference of lacking dual sim support and dual camera. I needed to reset my phone while trying to install an Asian Language support software. However, after the hard reset, my touch screen is not responsive at all. Does anyone know how to adjust the sensitivity of the touch screen? Thanks for answering!

I know I'm not the only person on this forum to have an issue with registering on the network, I'm in the UK on Vodafone, it works fine is certain areas, but when on the move it's super unreliable, and you couldn't really use it as your main phone as you don't know if it's going to work at all!

If someone has come across a fix for the radio on this phone I would love to know what it is - it would be quite a good phone if it werent for this annoying problem.

Yes the latest opera 4.2 works on my fake i68, but I couldn't get it into landscape/widescreen mode. However I found a version called OperaMiniMod310_en.jar that (although it's older) has better options and supported widescreen. Please be warned that I don't remember where I downloaded it from. I think the link below is the same thing but I haven't tested it.
