Yes the latest opera 4.2 works on my fake i68, but I couldn't get it into landscape/widescreen mode. However I found a version called OperaMiniMod310_en.jar that (although it's older) has better options and supported widescreen. Please be warned that I don't remember where I downloaded it from. Hi

i have read MANY MANY message about how P168 series cannot play any sort of binery of java systems, but i just got my new phone today 16/04/2009 15:09 and it has games pre installed already........... ?? no idea how that is to be.

Any ideas or thougts would be much helpful.

Hi i am new and have a doubt about those .app files in P168c+.. not sure if others p168's have the ability to run them... i downloaded some of these apps with extension .app, and those run even faster than .jar files.. i tried to look for other application but not able to find more.. any of you know about those apps? i see iPhone;s have the ability to run .app apps as well.. is a new feature? or how can we do to get more of these apps and get them run in ours P168's? thanks.... and sorry ...

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could download some games for the P168C+. I looked back at previous threads and people were talking about the older version and it not having a Java and stuff, so I figured I would ask and see if anyone one else has found a website to download touchscreen Java games for their P168C+...the ones that come on the phone are pretty WHACK lol.

I don't know if these will work with the phones or not as I do not have one that supports java, YET. But I've been looking this stuff up because I am thinking of purchasing a different phone that does support java...

I've been an avid user of the windows mobile platform for quite some time, and I've done quite a lot of win32 development for those phones. When my wizard died, I wanted to move elsewhere, and so I bought a CECT X1. Now, I know that realistically developing software for our phones seems like a daunting task (at least for us without java), but are there any other experienced developers on this forum? I've been trying to get my hands on the EDGE IDE which, is what our phones applications were built ...

Hi everyone, i've been far away from the forum for some time, my name is Victor and i'm from Porto,Portugal, and i'm a swimming coach.I bought a p168+ some months ago in Beijing, it was a nice phone but, there's always a but i never could run java applications on it so i sold it.From the begining i had developed a Stop Watch application intended to run on p168+, but i could not ever tested for obvious reasons.Neverless here it goes for everyone interested, it runs perfectly on Nokia 5200,5300 ...

Bluetooth Troubles

Ok guys... i have a problem ALL OF A SUDDEN with transfering files via bluetooth from pc to phone... i get an error message saying "An invalid argument was supplied" Now what the heck does that mean??? Has anyone else had the same problem??? i did some research online but there isn't much info on this my pc recognizes my phone but won't transfer... i even looked in my BT settings and everything seems fine, but am i missing something?? i have transferred pics, and music clip files ...

I am slightly confused here. I downloaded a few games from umnet.com and i can not get them to run. I made a new folder on my memory stick and simply clicked and dragged the game file into it. Is this the correct method??
