Evening all

A month ago I thought I purchased a CECT 168C+ from Amazon. I am completely happy with the purchase, but after reading 683 posts in this forum I am not sure about the phone now.

Looking behind the battery is says: Made in China

Quadband

Ifone model 168C

The face has 15 icons on the screen with the four large choices under those.

It has a great radio, unfortunately I have to be using the earbuds (that also are great)., and I wish I could just listen to the phone ...

Hello all, I am new to the forums and I hope someone can assist me.

I own a Cect i9, love it but got a problem...

The phone turns on and off fine via the button fine, that is prior to following problem below. All the functions work great and if used continously there are no troubles what so ever.

Now for the problem: If I set it down and leave it alone. The phone after about 3 to 5 minutes seems to awaken itself from the stand-by state all by itself and freezes the entire phone? ...

Just a quick question or 12. I bought my P168C mostly on an impulse, in hindsight. I found it on ebay and, after a couple of hours of research, decided that it was the phone for me. While waiting for the phone to arrive I discovered that the P168C+ and the I68+ had JAVA. My last phone was/is a T-mobile MDA. I have grown attatched to using applications such as Google maps on my phone. So I guess my first question is; how well does the JAVA work on these phones? My recent discovery has got my mind ...

I'm going to do my homework on this one, if its just a firmware upgrade I want it. Any one know anyone selling the i9 flash cables? The i9 touch screen key board sucks thats the main thing i don't like about it But the video I just watched shows the i9+ has the same key board as the i68+ I AM MIFFED.

I just bought a M88 and after popping in my Tmobile SIM, the phone functions fine and, somehow after hours of toggling, the text messages work. However, I cannot send/receive Outlook or Yahoo email and the networks go in and out (wifi). I'm pretty new to this kind of stuff and I was wondering if any of you could lend a hand in helping me establish a constant connection to the internet and email as I did with my Tmobile provided phone?

So, I was walking out to my car today with my hands full and I dropped my phone onto my asphalt driveway. I guess my case came at least one day late lol. It fell from about 4 feet and hit the ground on it's corner. It then bounced sideways and slid face down on the screen for about two feet under my car. I reached under my car and pulled out what I thought to be a destroyed cellphone. I was horrified. Much to my suprise, it only suffered a small dent on the aluminum corner it had landed on, 4 ...

I believe this topic was discussed, but it was in a off topic thread which at the moment I cannot find. I get a free pass

anyway,

When the i9 is charging, whether by PC or the outlet. will the phone say "battery full" or any indication that it is. because after 4 hours of charging, it still shows the battery as charging.

I'm sure Mike will follow up

Can I view streaming video on the M88 like you tube... apparently not with my current application? Suggestions?

Where can i get applications for this phone, i Google Mobile 6 applications but only find items for developers, what's the best site?

Last question..... What is the best format for videos?

I appreciate any help, Google didn't help to much but somehow found this site..

Thanks,

Hello , and thanks for setting up this forum for us to learn about our cect's.

I am trying to use Opera 9.5 on my M88 , and while I have lots of memory

open on the phone and a 4gig sd card I keep getting the OOM error.

Opera is installed on the sd ,with the cache also going to the sd.

I also tried it on the main memory , with the same result.

Does anyone know a fix that might work?

Thanks for reading and any advise you may offer.
