I'll get right to the point. My bricked i68 has 64mb firmware that was read when the phone was it good working condition. I mistakenly flashed the phone with 32mb firmware. Now it won't accept anything larger than 32mb (aka 02000000). It gives me an "invalid range" error saying "invalid begin address or end address exceeds target flash size." I'm using the begin address as 00000000 and the end as 04000000.

I can read a full 64mb from the phone just fine and it shows ...

Hello - I just got my i68+ the other day and am looking at what I need to do to upgrade the firmware - not sure what version is on phone but I know that it does not have that larger keyboard that seems avaliable - also hoping that with a newer version could have photos's with my call display. Anyways how do I go about finding out my firmware version and how do I update it? Is there a free option? What is Dora and what do I have to do with it first?

Hi I have searched for days trying to find the correct code to entering engineering mode on my i68. The guy I bought it from said that it was the latest model with a 6 page menu. And that no engineering code was offered. However I don't think it's an authentic sci-phone because the only codes I've gotten to work are: *#0000# (for version info) and *#06#. I have tried dozens of others with no luck. I'll list some of them below. I've heard that you can get the correct code with a hexeditor ...

Hi all,

I've been reading this forum since about 1 week to find information about my new cellphone. I found many interesting information but I'm a little confuse about the version of my phone and firmware.

If I look in the back of the phone, I would have the P168+

As far as it goes for the processor, I got the MT6225, E03.

So...can ...

The following Firmware is for the CiPhone 3G clone. I believe this is the touchflow version. that has copied the Sciphone 3.0a this could be the latest.

The fold contains the BIN file and i believe the Java files and a SCAT file for Flashing.

I do not know if this will work with the Sciphone or the i9 for that matter but if someone is willing to test this then go for it

P168 flashing

Hi folks

I know someone is going to say I should of searched but I looked and couldnt find anything. All I find is details on P168+ and C.

I have an orignal P168 firmware YH718a_BT_iWave_MULTILANG_V028

My question is can the firmware be rewritten to the one for P168C or P168++? or which is the highest firmware I can use?

I have seen on youtube ppl with P168 with Java, touchflo, etc. Which is what I wanted when I brought the phone.

Thanks in advance
