While attempting to take a picture, I am now receiving a wierd psychedelic looking pictures, not the normal one. I have tried every button on the phone and nothing will make it go away.. Any suggestions??Please Help

Hello freddeb64. Welcome to the forum. Did you check to see if there was a similar question to yours where an answer was posted on the forum? However if you have a P168+, do the following. Go to camera mode and select Options, select White Balance, select Auto, and then select Ok. Select Effect Settings, select Normal, and then select Ok. If you want to enable or remove a frame, select Add Frame, select Wall Paper Frame, select off for no frames or select frame of your choice if needed and then select Ok. Now most of these effects are found on small on-screen icons in camera mode on the right side. Touching any of them will change the settings. Each effect will recycle through its own menu. Hope this helps. (Also you can improve your photos by selecting Image Quality “High” on screen. It results in a better picture but uses a little more space on your card).

Of all things to correct the problem. One day recently the phone again made contact with the ground. Something told me to check the camera, and woohoo after being dropped the problem corrected itself.

It has happened again for some reason, but atleast now I know to simply drop it on some carpet a couple of times and the camera corrects itself and stops making distorted pictures.

I was scared because it came straight from China, and I don't know how I could have had someone look into it if necessary.......Smile.....FEBass
