China 23 Serial to USB...do they work?

Hey guys, you will have noticed that your admin has been away for awhile. Both bryce and myself have just gotten into our holidays so we will be spending a lot more time around the site and spending well needed time doing some maintenance work. This site has certainly grown since it's debut last year, and we look forward to seeing it continue to grow over the years.

Sorry, but I don't know anything about the serial to usb cable. I have the usb to usb cable. Are you asking about the adapter to use the standard usb cable that comes with the phone?

the china 23 flash cable. I have to use my Daughters computer to do my phone flashing. Would be nice to use mine. Just wondering if they work. No Biggie. & Thanks again for that flash file Klsmurf, Phone is unbricked and working great. Camera freezes but I think it is because the china 23 cable was bad and had some missed blocks transfered. I ordered a new one from zydaglo. I will reflash when the new cable comes in. I do wish they were longer. LOL and had a AC adapter. but a battery has a constant flow vs the ripples in the power supply.

The usb cable i've got is about 2 feet long and draws power directly from the computer itself, so no drop in power. I've got a regular serial cable that came with my play-around phone, but I've never used it since i don't have a serial port on my laptop.

you know, I just read your other post with the link to the usb one, I already ordered a serial from and $6 shipped for the usb adapter on ebay. But i also told IPmart about the bad cable and told them to send me the usb one for replacement. ( we shall find out how good their support is) Still waiting on my C+ (I will PM you when I post the firmware for it )
