Hello, Hi every one on this 'Exquisite' forum. I'm Peter from the beautiful twin islands of Trinidad & Tobago in the Caribbean. I'm more specifically in the island of Trinidad. I did quite some reading before making this post. Read the "must read rules' and got a bit shy to proceed. You know you can type your post in Microsoft word first, copy and paste it here, so that you don't have to worry about spell-checks - that is, if you want to go through the trouble. You all are just great and I’m glad to join a super bunch of winners. I got my P168 tri band last year January and was quite happy with it until it got wet (rain) in June this year. (Yes we do get lots of rain here from June to December). Took it apart completely to get it dry and it was okay except for a desensitised area right over the on screen text pad. Bought a new screen from China 1st week in this month, but it just showed me a blank white screen. Took it back out and I’m using the old one. If only I had found you wonderful people before buying the new screen. I’m still searching the forum before buying another screen or doing something drastic like changing firmware. I threw away the junk earphones since last year but kept the switch and the original jack; integrated it with a Sony Erickson head set I had before and ‘Whoopee’, custom made head set. Had to do some intricate soldering though which is ok when you have been practicing for a few years. Great to join you guys: just had to say it twice. (Hey, my time zone says 1:30pm.
