Hey guys, you will have noticed that your admin has been away for awhile. Both bryce and myself have just gotten into our holidays so we will be spending a lot more time around the site and spending well needed time doing some maintenance work. This site has certainly grown since it's debut last year, and we look forward to seeing it continue to grow over the years.
We have posted a mini-forum for any other CECT phone models, we will make the consideration of making the CECT P168 Forum a CECT forum, but not in the near future, So all other CECT phone users, go check it out!

Hi my name is Mike, I just sign on to this forum two days ago. I was wanted to know where I can get a serial flash cable for my P168+ I have not check with Radio Shack or Best Buy yet. so I thought I would ask if any one knew.

Hi Mike, welcome to the forum. Ipmart has the flash cables for the P168. It is the "China 23" cable. That is the designation for the mini-usb that our P168 uses. It is very doubtful you'll find the cable here in the U.S.

That's simply a personal choice. I've bought a phone, flash cable and other similar type articles from a few different chinese sites and have always gotten satisfactory results. I have heard the stories so I did my research and was prepared. Communication was the only trouble, but I'm just one point of view.
