Finally got a look at an i9+. Got five of them in the shop today from a back order. The build is Top quality. Excellent fit and finish. The menu is exactly the same as the i68+ with the colored numbers. I am going to use one for a day or two to see how well it functions. The best news about this version is I have a flash cable and have been able to upgrade the last of the older i9s to this version succesfully with the firmware off the i9+. It's a good day in Boykins. ______________________ Mike

After using the i9+ 2.1 for a few days I have come to the conclusion that it is better than the i68+/i9 firmware. less little bugs seems to be finer tuned. I also like it better than the i68+ 2.0 in every way except one, the keyboard is a little better on the i68+ in that you don't have to go through a bunch of languages to go from upper and lower case and numbers. The i68+ 3.0 is Still the best of them. But tha're some bugs in the wap default browser in both the versions of the i68+ with AT&T medianet that does not seem to be in the i9+, i9 or i9/i68+. Basicly when you go to the home page it won't let you do anything. You can bypass all the problems with Opra Mini. ____________________ Mike

I've been considering getting another phone just for the java feature. Are there any glitches with the functionality of Opera Mini? Or the java in general? Does java run better on one of these phones? _________________ How to readback/backup your firmware to your computer: ClickHow to unbrick/install firmware: ClickHow to edit graphics on your phone's firmware: Click
