KA08 mini iphone? Anyone know anything?

Hey guys, you will have noticed that your admin has been away for awhile. Both bryce and myself have just gotten into our holidays so we will be spending a lot more time around the site and spending well needed time doing some maintenance work. Hey guys

So I bought a mini iPhone KA08 on eBay. I just wanted a phone that worked, and had dual sim, so this seemed to fit the bill.

I haven't actually got it yet as it's somewhere in the skies between Hong Kong and here, but I have a few questions:

- I can find barely ANYTHING about it online. Does it have another model number, forum etc?
- From videos, I hate the font on the front menu. Anyway I can change this myself to the Apple Font?
- Anyone know anything about Firmware etc for it?
- Can I sync contacts with Bluetooth?

it's not really an iphone. it's an iphone clone. maybe the term 'iphone' is stymying your googling. i've seen it also known as the CECT AK08. who knows why :-S that's a bit like calling an AK47 an KA47. oh well. adn on another post, someone says they have a G580 which is the same as a KA08. i can't vouch for the accuracy of that

hello everyone,i bought a ka08 mini , i have had it for a month now,, it was a hard to get use to , i have att for my service , what ever you do dont ask them about it ,,,,,they have no clue what to do either ,,,,i bought a cd from ebay with drivers on it, so i can hook it up to my pc this helped alot , i put a 8mb sd flash card in my phone,you have to put music files in "my music" folder on your memory card for the audio player to work,,,, NOW for your MMS and internet to work mms for att service you need to follow thease steps for :AT&T WAP ***First Step*** 1.Main menu --> Select Services 3.Select Data Account --> Select GPRS 5.Select the first entry 6.Edit the account name to whatever you would like 7.Edit APN to wap.cingular (lowercase) 8.Edit Username to WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM (UPPERCASE) 9.Edit Password to CINGULAR1 (UPPERCASE) 10.Edit Auth Type. to Secure 11. Save Select Back --> Select Back ***Second Step*** Select WAP 1.Select Settings --> Edit Profile 3.Select the first entry --> Edit Profile 5.edit the name to whatever you would like 6.Edit Homepage to http://device.home 7.Edit Data Account to the Name you established in the First Step 8.Edit Connection type to HTTP 9.The IP address is 066.209.011.032 and the port number is 8080 10.Edit Username to WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM 11.Edit Password to CINGULAR1 Select back or done Select Activate Account MMS Select Messages --> MMS --> Message Settings Select Server Profile Select the first entry Select Edit Profile Edit Rename Profile to whatever name you would like Edit Home Page to http://mmsc.cingular.com Edit Data Account to the same data account you created for WAP Edit Connection Type to HTTP the IP address is 066.209.011.032 and the port is 8080 Edit the Username to WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM (UPPERCASE) Edit the Password to CINGULAR1 (UPPERCASE) Select Done or Save Make sure to activate the profile and you are good.
