Hey guys, you will have noticed that your admin has been away for awhile. Both bryce and myself have just gotten into our holidays so we will be spending a lot more time around the site and spending well needed time doing some maintenance work. This site has certainly grown since it's debut last year, and we look forward to seeing it continue to grow over the years.
We have posted a mini-forum for any other CECT phone models, we will make the consideration of making the CECT P168 Forum a CECT forum, but not in the near future, So all other CECT phone users, go check it out!

Just a quick question or 12. I bought my P168C mostly on an impulse, in hindsight. I found it on ebay and, after a couple of hours of research, decided that it was the phone for me. While waiting for the phone to arrive I discovered that the P168C+ and the I68+ had JAVA. My last phone was/is a T-mobile MDA. I have grown attatched to using applications such as Google maps on my phone. So I guess my first question is; how well does the JAVA work on these phones? My recent discovery has got my mind to thinking. Maybe I want one of these "newer" models. Keep in mind that I am still waiting on my phone so I have not experienced it first hand. I would like to open a discussion where various phone users and experts can weigh in on the functions of their phones vs the other models listed in the title. I would like to be able to compile a list of pros vs cons in comparison to the other models in order to form my opinion. I would rather rely on credible first-hand accounts rather than drummed up claims by various sellers as I have found online. Any help would be appreciated. Also, if anyone knows of a similar phone that could be compared that would be helpful as well. Hopefully this thread will help someone else form their decision in the future as well. Thanks!!!

I bought an S18 to check it out and sold it a day later. was not well made Many features are the same as the i68+ 2.0 but it had a different main menu format. Also was missing G scencor and shake. I could not find a custom case to fit it into. i9s and sciphones i68+ will fit in many iphone cases perfectly. It used the same cables and headset adapter as the i68+ with the white numbers. I think it was an attempt to make a phone less expensive to manufacture for profitability

I have not seen a C+ yet, But if in the same shell as the p168 than I would pick the i68+. Its more sleek, thinner and smaller. Its like comparing a Hummer to a Porsh. Many cases out for the I phone fit the i68+ well and you can get accessories for it like headset adaptors Etc. Zydaglo sells them. They both have the same features like Java, Duel sim and the Nucleus OS.
