| has anyone had any luck in getting one to fit? The last one i bought ended up locking the phone up. The touch screen just froze. I had to take it off to get it to work. I was for the iphone so that may have been the problem but it can`t hurt to ask. |

| I received one with my phone. It was a tiny bit big but for the screen, it went up the edges just a little, but my DH trimmed it so it fit just on the screen itself and it is working Great! Except for maybe my teenager leaving finger prints all over it.. Imagne That! |

Well, it arrived, finally... I think they lost my 1st order and they had to resend it. Apparently everybody is ordering from them for the iPhone because of the plastic back so they're backlogged.
Anyways, on the the screen protector- it was cut to the EXACT screen dimensions so I had to trim ~1mm bottom and side so that it doesn't touch the edge. It is a wet application, much like window-tinting. They include a spray. You spray the adhesive backing of the protector, lay down the protector on the screen and so long as it's a little wet, you can move it around to center it off of the edges. I then laid down a paper towel and used the included squeegee to squeeze out the liquid to get absorbed onto the towel. Fairly easy application, no bubbles or lifting edges or anything.
I let it dry a few hours, and tested out the touchscreen. It's *slightly* less sensitive (so you have to actually press a bit to get, e.g. the numbers to come up to dial) but that's okay cuz I find the touchscreen a little too sensitive by itself. I'm still able to key in all the letters in the QWERTY pop-up with the tip of my finger, which is good. The screen material itself has a bit of tack to it... I haven't used the stylus on it... it's guaranteed not to tear so I'm not worried about that, but I'm a little afraid of pulls and wrinkles, at least until the adhesive is fully dried.
So yeah, no problems with the protector stopping the touch recognition. Now I don't have to worry about screen scratches, even though I still carry it in a case. And yeah, the protector is guaranteed against tears and scratches and damage. If anything happens, you pull it off, send it back and they send you a new one. I like it! |

| I also bought the screen protectors at Wal-mart. 1/2 of a sheet fits over the part of the screen that is touch sensitive. I have the M88 and the screen is plastic, so this solution is a good one. I did have some trouble getting the screen clean, as it already had some scratches on it. I bought a silicon case from Zydaglo, turned it upside down so I could access the usb port which is on the top of my phone, poked a hole for my camera, and some more holes for the speaker. (used a leather punch) The M88 only has one speaker, so with the case on it, I couldn't hear the phone ring. Now I can just put it in my pocket without worrying too much about scratching it. The silicon case makes for a good grip, so no fear of dropping it. The case also covers the touch screen pen, so I am not so afraid of loosing it. The case is easy to slip off the corner where the pen is, so the pen is easy to get at when you need it. The bright red color of the case makes it easy to find. |
